Kenya’s location and borders
Kenya straddles the equator on the east coast of Africa. It is bordered by Tanzania to the south, Uganda to the west, South Sudan to the northwest, Ethiopia to the north and Somalia to the northeast, with the Indian Ocean along its southeast coast. The capital, Nairobi, sits in the south-central highlands; Mombasa is the main port on the coast.
