Description

Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest National Park in Kenya is located at Taita Taveta County and it covers an area of 13,747 Square Kilometers. The Park was established in 1948. Athi River and Tsavo Rivers meets at the park to form Galana River which flows to the ocean thus providing a base for more wildlife attractions.

Most popular visitor attractions includes: Mudanda rock, Yatta Plateau, Lugard Falls and Aruba Dam. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.
