7-Day Classic Kenya Safari: Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha & Amboseli

Description

Step into the wild heart of Kenya on our 7-day classic circuit; the most loved safari route in the country. We start in the iconic Masai Mara, where the grass rolls endlessly and lion prides hunt in the open. Over two full days here you'll track the Big Five, witness the drama of the Mara River crossings during the Great Migration (July to October), and wake up to the sounds of the African bush from your ensuite tented camp.  From the Mara we head to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake ringed by fever trees and papyrus. A boat ride brings you face to face with hippo pods, fish eagles, and pelicans and Crescent Island offers a rare chance to walk freely among giraffe and zebra.  Lake Nakuru is next: its shoreline turns pink with flamingoes, and the park shelters Kenya's most important rhino sanctuary. Then we drive south to Amboseli, where the elephants are legendary — great tuskers moving beneath the snow-capped summit of Kilimanjaro in a scene that defines East Africa. Seven days. Four parks. One unforgettable journey.
