Timing your trip to what you want
For the wildebeest migration and river crossings, come July to October and head for the Maasai Mara. For the clearest Kilimanjaro and big elephant herds, Amboseli is best in the dry months. For value and green landscapes, the March to May low season is quiet and cheaper. The coast is best from October to April.
